Positive Education Solutions carefully evaluates the needs of your child and recommends a course of action to remedy any problems.

FREE Initial Consultation - Positive Education Solutions will provide a FREE consultation of up to twenty minutes to help you determine what services are appropriate for you.

Parent Coaching – Positive Education Solutions will provide education regarding several issues including the Student Support Team (SST) process and special education eligibility, Response to Intervention (RtI), Americans with Disabilities Act Section 504, and Parental Rights for Special Education Students. We can also provide information regarding the latest research on curriculum, services, and programming. This service will provide you with the information that you need to advocate for the best services on behalf of your child and to obtain solutions to your problems.

Student Records Review – Positive Education Solutions will provide a professional review of your child’s educational records and provide with you with insight as to the completeness and accuracy of the documentation of your child’s status and progress. We will interpret information from evaluations and other data for you in understandable terms. Additionally, we will provide analysis regarding the appropriateness of the current services, placements, and goals for your child and suggest changes based on evidence-based practices if necessary. A thorough professional review of your child’s records will provide you with specific and detailed solutions for your child’s programming, interventions, and strategies targeted for your child.

Letter Writing – Positive Education Solutions will assist you in making your concerns known to your child's school in writing. Examples include letters to request parent conferences, SST meetings, 504 meetings, special education evaluations, IEP review meetings, independent educational evaluations, due process hearings, and more.

Meeting Preparation - Positive Education Solutions will work with you to provide you with the necessary tools to communicate your concerns to school staff and to get the best services available for your child at your next team meeting. We will prepare you to present your recommended positive solutions to the team. We will also coach and prepare you to deliver your request in a manner to maintain open communication with the team and obtain the best possible services for your child.

Meeting Representation – At your request, Positive Education Solutions will attend parent conferences, SST, 504 and IEP meetings with you to help you effectively deliver your requests and propose your positive solutions to the team.

Training Seminars - Positive Education Solutions is available to provide training seminars on any of the topics provided in the other services.
